Several sheep killed after cloud burst hits far-flung area of Kangan, Two nomads injured

Kangan, Sep 22, KNT: Two nomads were injured while several sheep were either killed after a cloud burst hit a far flung area of Kangan here in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a cloud burst hit upper reaches of forest area of Laman Babanagri Wangath area of Kangan.

The incident occurred during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.

They said many sheep has died in the cloud burst while some have sustained injuries. Police sources added that two Bakarwals were also injured and are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
