Kishtwar police nabbed 02 bootleggers,huge quantity of illicit liquor recovered

Kashitwar,Sept. 18, 2021: Continuing it’s drive against illicit liquor,during routine Patrolling duty at Drabshalla Market PSI Deepak Dogra along with his team,during checking 02 persons tried to escape from the spot but the Police party tactfully apprehended both of them.During frisking 83 bottles of JK Special whisky were recovered from their possession and accordingly both arrested on spot.

The arrested person has been identified as Nitish Kumar S/o Ganga Ram R/o Mugalmaidan & Bablu Thakur S/o Shankar Dass R/o Dessa Doda.

In this connection case FIR No. 219/2021 U/Sec 48 (a), Excise Act has been registered at PS Kishtwar and investigation taken up.
