Injured carpenter from Sopore succumbs at Sgr hospital

Sopore, Aug 26 (KNO): A 40-year-old carpenter succumbed on Thursday, two days after he fell off a roof top in Mahrajpora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a carpenter identified as Farooq Ahmad Changa, son of Habib ullah Changa of Arampora Sopore was critically injured after he slipped and fell off a roof top.

“He was immediately taken to Sopore hospital, where doctors referred him to Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment.”

The official said that he succumbed to his injuries after two days in Srinagar hospital and the body has been handed over to his family for last rites—(KNO)
