Srinagar:14 Aug: DGP J&K, Dilbag Singh expresses gratitude to JKUT LG,Union Home Secretary and Union Home Ministry for due recognition of valour and sacrifice of JKP officers/personnel and award of highest ever number of Service and Gallantry Medals on the eve of 75th Independence Day.
J&K Police is awarded 1 out of total 2 President’ s Police Medal for Gallantry (PPMG), 256 out of total 628 Police Medals for Gallantry (PMG),02 President’s Police Medals for Distinguished Service, (PPM DS),16 Police Medals for Meritorious Service.
He congratulates the Awardees and JKP Family for this unprecedented feat.DGP also conveys his congratulations to the Awardees of other state Police forces and CAPFs, especially the ones working Shoulder to Shoulder with JKP on this occasion.
