LS adjourned amid Oppn protest over Pegasus snooping row, farm laws

New Delhi, Aug 3 (UNI) Proceedings of the Lok Sabha were adjourned till 1200 hrs on Tuesday

amid ruckus by the Opposition over various issues, including Pegasus snooping row and new farm laws.

When the Question Hour commenced, the Opposition Members entered the Well of the House and

started sloganeering over the issues.

Amid pandemonium, Speaker Om Birla conducted the Question Hour for nearly 40 minutes.

Mr Birla made repeated requests to the Opposition members to return to their seats. He told the agitating members that more than seven issues related to farmers have been taken up during the Question Hour, but they (agitating members) don’t want to discuss issues related to farmers.

As the Opposition members did not pay heed to Mr Birla’s requests, he adjourned the House till 1200 hrs.
