Abhay calls on Foreign and Defence Minister of Madagascar

Antananarivo, Aug 02 (UNI) Indian Ambassador in Madagascar Abhay Kumar met Foreign Minister of Madagascar

Tehindrazanarivelo Djacoba Liva and Defence Minister General Leon Jean Richard Rakotonirina today.

Mr Kumar called on both Foreign Minister and Defence Minister to take stock of the measures required to be taken to strengthen further the ties between the two countries. During the meeting with Defence Minister,

issue of bilateral defence cooperation between the two countries came up for discussion.

Mr Kumar, has been making great efforts to deepen further the ties between India and Madagascar, since he was posted there as Indian ambassador. He is also an internationally acclaimed author who has written several books, greatly appreciated in literary world.
