5.4-magnitude quake hits 126 km SSE of Kuril’sk, Russia – USGS

Beijing, Aug 2 (UNI/Xinhua) An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted 126 km south-southeast of Kuril’sk, Russia at 03:28 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 35.0 km, was initially determined to be at 44.1322 degrees north latitude and 148.2984 degrees east longitude.
