RPF’s Sub-Inspector, His Wife And 2 Children Feared Dead In Ramban Accident

Jammu, July 26: A Sub Inspector of Railway Police Force, his wife and their two children are feared dead after a car they were travelling in skidded of the road and plunged into a river Chenab along the Jammu-Srinagar highway in Ramban district on Monday.

A police officer said that the Sub Inspector of RPF Rakesh Kumar along with his wife and two children were heading towards Jammu when the car he was driving in skidded off the road and plunged into the fast flowing river at Mehar, a place between Ramban -Banihal.

Soon after the accidents team pof Police and QRT reached the spot and started searches. While entire family of four is feared to be dead, no body was recovered when this reported was filed late in the evening.

A police officer confirming the accident told GNS that searches were underway. (GNS)
