Wife, 3 sons of CRPF trooper injured in rice cooker explosion

Ramban, July 16, KNT: Three sons and wife of a CRPF trooper sustained injuries after a rice cooker exploded in the kitchen.

The incident occurred at Maitra village of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that wife and three kids of a CRPF constable of 84 Battalion Rajesh Singh, a resident of Garhi Ramban were injured in a rice explosion.

“The cooker exploded in the kitchen of a rented house on Friday morning. The injured were shifted to District Hospital Ramban for treatment,” they said.

The injured were identified as 25-year-old Satya Devi and her three little sons Sahil Katoch, Sourab Katoch and Gaurav Katoch. (KNT)
