Uri Accident: Vehicle Driver Succumbs To Injuries At GMC Baramulla

Baramulla, Jul 15 (GNS): Barely hours after sustaining injuries in a road accident in Zamboorpattan village of Uri, the vehicle driver has succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College Baramulla.

A medical official told GNS that the injured person namely Mohammad Ismail Taas (42), a resident of Zamboorpattan was received in critical conditions after being referred alongside four others from Mohura to GMC this morning.

On administration of all possible treatment, the person couldn’t be however be saved, the official said.

Mohammad Ismail was among five persons who suffered injuries after a vehicle – Expresso – bearing registration number JK-05J 3012 skidded of the road and fell into a deep gorge in Zamboorpatan village of Uri earlier this morning.

Meanwhile the four injured passengers identified as Bader-ud-Din Taas, Mohammad Rafiq Bajad, Jameel Ahmad Bajad, Khadim Hussain and Gulsahan Bano are undergoing treatment at GMC Baramulla. (GNS)
