Vaccination will help prevent possible 3rd Covid wave: DC Sgr

Asks people to follow SOPs, says no room for any complacency

Srinagar, Jul 03: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Muhammad Aijaz Asad on Saturday said that the vaccination will help in preventing possible 3rd Covid wave here.

Talking to media persons, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Asad said that as the experts are predicting the 3rd Covid wave, there is a need to understand the importance of getting vaccinated.

He said it is the only way to prevent the possible 3rd Covid wave here, adding that besides the people should also follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

DC further added that after further ease in lockdown in future when shrines and public parks will be reopened, the vaccinated people would likely get priority.
