Two women from same Baramulla village attempt suicide


Baramulla, June 18,: Two women from the same village of Baramulla district tried to end their lives by consuming poison.
Police have taken up investigation to ascertain the reason behind the twin incidents.
The twin incidents occurred in the village Bachi Trikanjan of Boniyar Baramulla.
Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that two women aged between 36 to 40 consumed poison. One is the wife of Shabir Bhat while another is the spouse of Mushtaq Bhat.
Both the women are being treated at Boniyar Hospital.
Police have registered cases vide FIR numbers 44 and 44/2021 and taken up investigation under section 309 IPC at Boniyar Police Station. (KNT)
