Srinagar, June 17, KNT: Militants shot at a policeman at Sadpora Safakadal area of Srinagar this evening.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that unknown gunmen fired upon a police constable who was in civvies.
Sources added that police constable suffered injuries to neck and has been shifted to SKIMS where he succumbed to his injuries.
The police constable has been identified as Javaid Ahmed Kambay.
Sources added that the cop is the security guard of a High Court Judge. (KNT)
