Four killed in Agra road accident

Agra, Jun 10 (UNI) Four people, including two elderly women, were killed when a bus rammed a stationary truck on the Chaleshar flyover on National highway 2 early Thursday morning, police said.

Ten people were injured in the incident.The injured have been admitted to the SN Medical college hospital.

According to police, a water melon-laden truck was parked on the flyover after breaking down late last night. Early this morning, a UPSRTC bus coming from Kanpur rammed the truck and got stuck on the divider killing four of its passengers.

The deceased were identified as Yamani(60) of Shahganj, Resham(65) of Shahganj, Mandelshwar(28) of Rajasthan and Narendra Singh Chauhan(52) of Anwarganj in Kanpur.

Meanwhile, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has condoled the death in the accident and directed the district officials to ensure all treatment to the injured.
