Op Sadhbhavana: Especially abled individuals were felicitated with wheelchairs by Indian Army.
Provision of wheelchairs to Specially abled Individuals.
In pursuance of Army’s ongoing efforts under Op Sadhbhavana, specially abled individuals namely (a) Rukaiya Akbar, D/o Md Akbar Bhatt, R/o Bhattpur, Kunzer (b) Anika, D/o Mushtak Ahmad, R/o Hardwani, Kunzer, (c) Ruksana, D/o Gh Hassan Dar, R/o Rambelpura, Kunzer (d) Niveda, D/o Md Abdulla Sheikh, R/O Malegaon, Kunzer of Bn AOR, were felicitated with wheelchairs.
There is a need to make these individuals feel that they are important part of the society and can pursue their dreams like others. Provision of these wheelchairs will boost their moral and urge them to strive hard in their respective fields. All these individuals are from BPL families and were unable to purchase such advanced gadgets for their daily use.
On the occasion, CO 2 RR Bn (SIKH Ll) Col AS Malik, VSM distributed the wheelchairs to these individuals and motivated them to work hard and have believe in themselves.
The event concluded with a high tea organized for informal interaction with these individuals and their families, where the family members appreciated this effort by Army and thanked for support.
