Saving Lives, Livelihood Govt’s Priority: LG

Srinagar, May 28 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday said that saving lives and protecting livelihoods is the priority of the government.

“Today chaired a series of high level meetings with Covid Task Force, DCs and SSPs. Directed for calibrated intervention and containment efforts against the COVID Pandemic. Saving lives, protecting livelihoods is our priority,” Sinha said in tweet.

“ASHAs, Anganwadi workers, ANMs to be trained; Covid Testing facilities to be ensured at Sub-Centre level for timely identification of suspected cases,” he said, adding, “Concerned officers to make synergized efforts to accelerate vaccination progress with focus on priority groups like Bank Employees, Airport, Railway staff and service providers.” (GNS)
