Rusted Shell Defused in Kunzar Tangmarg

Srinagar, May 26:  A joint team of Army and police on Wednesday afternoon defused a rusted explosive shell in Kunzar area of Tangmarg in north-Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An official told news agency GNS that upon intimation by locals about sighting of the explosive lying in Utikoo village, a joint team of Army’s 2 RR alongside Kunzar police reached the spot.

The team upon assessing the nature of the shell, found it in a rusted state, following which it defused the explosive.

The whole process went on smoothly, the official added. (GNS)
