Soldiers launch search operation after observing suspicious movement in Gupkar hills

Srinagar, May 25, : Soldiers launched a search operation in the hilly area between Gupkar and Badami Bagh Cantonment after they observed suspicious movement during the wee hours on Tuesday.

Reliable sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that soldiers from 20 Rashtriya Rifles observed a suspicious movement in the hilly area from Gupkar side and immediately launched a search operation.

They said suspicious movement was observed near Baloo Post. Soldiers on duty launched a search operation in the hilly area, however, nothing suspicious was found there.

Srinagar based Defense Spokesperson couldn’t be contacted for the comments. (KNT)
