Raj Palace Hotel in Kupwara Sealed Over ‘Lockdown Violation’

Kupwara, May 16: Authorities have on Sunday afternoon sealed a premier eatary – Raj Palace Hotel and Restaurant – in main-town Kupwara over alleged violation of Lockdown.

An official part of the inspection team told Srinagar-based news agency Global News Service (GNS) that the hotel was found working routinely even as prohibitory orders, restraining such activities, already in place.

Besides the SOPs made public from time to time were not found in place, putting the life of public at danger, the official said.

Owing to the violation, the establishment instantly sealed by the team, the official said.

In the meantime another shop at Jamia Masjid road was sealed on similar violations, the official added.
