Police arrest drug peddler in south Kashmir

Srinagar, May 3 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a drug peddler and recovered poppy straw and cash from him in south Kashmir district of Kulgam, a police spokesman said.

He said on a tip-off, a police party arrested a drug peddler and recovered 15 kg of poppy straw like substance, a grinder mixer, mobile phone and cash Rs 4600 from his possession in Kulgam.

He said a case FIR Number 69/2021U/S 8/15 NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station (PS) Kulgam and investigation has been taken up.
