While excavating gypsum, worker dies on spot after coming under rock

Baramulla, Apr 30,: A worker died on spot at a gypsum excavation site in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that an Excavator Machine Operator came under a gypsum rock, while excavating the gypsum at ‘Raz Chemicals’ Niloosa that falls under the jurisdiction of police station Bijhama.

Sources added that the worker died on the spot. Police in this regard, initiated proceedings under 174 CrPc and set investigation into motion. (KNT)
