Driver from Punjab dies of heart attack on Srinagar-Jammu highway

Srinagar, Apr 13 (UNI) A driver from Amritsar Punjab died due of heart attack in his parked truck on Srinagar-Jammu national highway, official sources said on Tuesday.

The driver identified as Darshan Singh, resident of Amritsar Punjab, had parked his truck at Digdol Ramban on the highway on Monday night.

However, he later complained pain in his chest, they said adding that Singh was immediately taken to nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Police have registered a case FIR and initiated proceedings.
