Former KU VC Riyaz Punjabi no more

Former Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir, Riyaz Punjabi died on Thursday after a brief illness.Reports quoting the deceased’s family said that Riyaz breathed his last Thursday morning at his Delhi residence.

The deceased was a former Professor and Vice Chancellor at the University of Kashmir. He was granted the Padma Shri, one of India’s highest civilian awards, in 2011.
