COVID: J&K reports 157 new positive cases, two deaths

Srinagar, Mar 23 : Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday informed that 157 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (52 from Jammu division and 105 from Kashmir) division, have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 128836.
Also two deaths have been received from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 81 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 11 from Jammu Division and 70 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 128836 positive cases, 1983 are Active Positive, 125443 have recovered and 1983 have died; 732 in Jammu division and 1251 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 5800849test results available, 5672013 samples have been tested as negative till March 23.
Till date 1447291 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 29110 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1410 in isolation and 124739in home surveillance.
Besides, 1290049 persons have completed their surveillance period.
