New Delhi, Mar 22: Afghanistan Foreign Minister Mohammad Haneef Atmar will arrive here on Monday on a three-day visit.
During his visit, Mr Atmar is expected to meet External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar.
Mr Atmar’s visit holds a significant importance as US had recently announced the date May 1 as a deadline to remove all its troops from the war-torn Afghanistan, under an agreement signed with the Taliban last year.
Notably, US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin, in a bid to further the ‘peace talks’, touched down in Kabul on Sunday.
