New Delhi March 18: Despite the softening of crude oil abroad, the prices of petrol and diesel domestically remained unchanged for the 19th consecutive day on Thursday.
A decreasing trend in crude oil is being seen in foreign markets. London Brent fell below $ 68 a barrel in Singapore.
Petrol in the capital Delhi is currently at Rs 91.17 per liter and diesel at Rs 81.47 per liter. The prices of both of these were increased by 24 paise and 15 paise per liter respectively on 27 February and the prices of both of these are at all-time record levels across the country.
According to Indian Oil Corporation, a state-owned oil marketing company, today the prices of both these fuels are stable.
Experts say that due to the assembly elections to be held in four states and one union territory of the country, there is no change in the prices of petrol diesel.
