DC Ganderbal chairs introductory meet with DDC members

Gandarbal March 16 : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal,
Shafqat Iqbal today chaired an introductory meeting to interact with the
newly elected members of District Development Councilors (DDC's).
The meeting was attended by DDC Chairperson Ganderbal, Nuzhat
Ishfaq, DDC Vice Chairperson and all DDC members.
The meeting was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner
Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, ASP Ganderbal, ACR, SDM Kangan,
ACD, CPO, SEs, Executive Engineers and other district and sectoral
officers and officials.
At the onset of meeting, the DC congratulated all the DDC members
and assured them full cooperation from district administration within the
ambit of rules in mitigating the issues of people and taking development
activities to new heights in the district.
The DC said that all district and sectoral officers are already
instructed to ensure their support to the PRIs who are well aware about the
developmental needs and issues of their areas.
On the occasion DC highlighted the role of DDCs, in proper
implementation of welfare schemes and creating awareness among
masses with regard to 3-tier of self-governance for implementation of
various flagship programs in the district.
The DDCs also shared their valuable suggestions with regard to
development and quality disposal of grievances of the people and assured
their full support to district administration in implementation of various
beneficiary oriented schemes.
The DC reiterated that the district administration is committed to
ensure equitable development of all panchayats of the district and in this
regard sought their cooperation.
