Bejbhera Encounter Day 02: Two JeM militants killed, Search operation continues

Srinagar, March 11 : Two militants of Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit were killed in an overnight encounter at Kanidpora area of Bejbhera in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thrusday.
Official sources told GNS, that two militants were killed in an encounter, however identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
On Wednesday operation was suspended due to darkness to avoid any collateral damage and was resumed today with the first light of the day.
Reports yesterday reaching GNS that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Kandipora.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an gunfight.(GNS)
