TRAFFIC POLICE HEADQUARTERS, J&K, JAMMU/SRINAGAR

NHW-44.
Tomorrow, subject to fair weather and better road condition, LMVs shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. However, TCU Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.

CUT OFF TIMING:
LMVs from Zig (Qazigund) 0700 hrs to 1100 hrs.
No Vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut off timing

HMVs/Load Carriers
Only stranded Vehicles between Jawahar Tunnel and Banihal shall be allowed towards Jammu.

SFs Convoy Movement
Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW . They may ply from Srinagar towards Jammu after confirming the status of NHW.

MUGHAL ROAD
Mughal road closed due to snow accumulation.

SSG ROAD
SSG road closed by the J&K Govt. vide DIVCOM Kashmir’s order No 400/2020 dated 30-12-2020 till further orders.

ADVISORY
People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
