Basel, Mar 3 : Indian mixed doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Ashwini Ponnappa outshined Indonesian pair of Hafiz Faizal and Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja in their first match of Swiss Open Super 300 tournament here on Tuesday night.
The India pair thrashed the second-seeded Indonesians 21-18, 21-10 to enter the second round of the tournament.
In another match, Pranaaav Jerry Chopra and N Sikki Reddy made exit of the tournament after losing 21-18, 21-15 to England’s Marcus Ellis and Lauren Smith in their first match.
