37 travellers, 2 minors among 104 fresh covid-19 cases in J&K

Srinagar, Mar 03: 37 travellers and two minors were among 104 fresh covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir even as no death due to the virus took place during the last 24 hours, officials said on Wednesday.

Among the fresh cases, 17 cases were reported from Jammu and 87 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall tally to 126693.

Giving district-wise details, they said that Srinagar reported 53 cases, Baramulla 12, Budgam 5, Pulwama 3, Kupwara 2, Anantnag 7, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 1, Kulgam 3, Shopian 1, Jammu 11, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 2, Samba 1, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.

A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratory of SKIMS Soura and CD hospital.

The CD cases include female (26) from Khanyar, male (49) from BB Cantt Srg, female (38) from Kadalbal Pampore, male (32) from Tral, female (34) from Kanikadal Srg, female (08) from Lalbazar, two males (36, 04) and female (34) from Buchpora, male (60) from Rajpora, male (21) and two females (58, 24) from Parraypora, male (50) from Jawahar Nagar, male (67) from Baghi Mehtab, female (27) from Dalgate, male (44) from Koolipora, female (48) from Balgarden, NA (32) from Srinagar, two females (NA, NA) from Panthachowk Srinagar.

The SKIMS cases include male (45) from Pethkoot Beerwah, female (24) from Hawal Srinagar, male (52) from Bagi Mehtab, male (62) from Botakadal, female (58) from Lalbazar Srinagar.

Moreover, the officials told GNS that 49 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—13 from Jammu Division and 36 from Kashmir Valley.

Out of 126693 cases, 875 are active positive— 189 in Jammu and 686 in Kashmir. So far 123860 have recovered while 1958 have died—725 in Jammu division and 1233 in Kashmir.
