Mumbai, Feb 24 : The BSE Sensex on Wednesday rose by 268.69 pts at 50,020.10 on the strength of Materials, Energy, FMCG, Finance and Health Care stocks.
The Nifty gained by 93 pts to 14.,801.55. The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 50.028.64 and 49,736.97 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 14,805.90 and 14,723.05 respectively.
The Mid Cap rose by 0.65 pc and Small Cap by 0.94 pc.
In 30 scrips, 20 advanced while 10 declined.
