Missing minor brothers recovered from Baramulla

Srinagar, Feb 8 (UNI) Two minor brothers, who were reported missing since Saturday in the apple township of Sopore in north Kashmir, were recovered from Baramulla, a police official said.

He said a complaint was lodged in Police Station Sopore by one Mohammad Ashraf that his two minor sons, identified as 14-year-old Faizan Ahmad and 12-year-old Rizwan Ahmad, were missing from home at Nowpora since Saturday. “A case was registered and investigation was taken up,” he said.

He said police also sought help from general public to trace the missing boys though social media and other platforms. “A call was received by police that the missing duo was at shop in Baramulla owned by Showkat Ahmad Dar,” he said.

He said on receiving this information police party was deputed to Baramulla and the duo was recovered. “After completing all the legal formalities, the duo was handed over to their family,” he added.
