New Delhi Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E Palaniswami on Monday evening met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at later’s residence.
The meeting assumes significance ahead of Tamil Nadu Assembly poll in April May this year. Though, the details of the meeting has not been shared with media by the Ministry but it is believed that the visiting CM discussed the political situation of the State.
Mr Palaniswami is in national capital on a two-day visit and is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday.
According to a source, he is also expected to discuss the political situation in Tamil Nadu with the senior leaders of his alliance partner BJP.
