DDC Kulgam flags-off progressive sheep breeders for exposure tour

 Kulgam:To acquaint sheep breeders  with latest technological interventions in sheep husbandry sector, DDC Kulgam Showkat Aijaz Bhat today flagged-off a group of sheep breeders  of district Kulgam  along with technical staff of Sheep husbandry department kulgam for an exposure tour to SKUAST-K.

These bredders have been fallged -off for a day long visit organized by the Sheep husbandry department Kulgam under ATMA scheme.
   
The main objective of the programme is to apprise these progressive sheep breeders about  latest technological interventions in sheep husbandry sector to make it more profitable and progressive sector.

On the outset of flag-off of these farmers the DDC interacted with these sheep breeders and urged them to get themselves acquainted with the latest scientific technologies through such exposure-cum-interactive programmes.

District sheep husbandry officer, Dr Rafeeq Ahmad and other officers and officials of sheep husbandry office were  present on the occasion.
