Srinagar, Dec 29 : An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in outskirts of Srinagar on Tuesday evening.Reports reaching that a gunfight broke out at Hoskar area of Umerbad outskirts of Srinagar.The official said forces team launched a cordon and search operation in the area following inputs about the presence of militants.
As searching party encircled the target house hidding militants fired upon them thus triggering a gunfight.As per sources two militants are belived to be trapped in the area.Firing from both sides was on when last reports came in.
