DC Ganderbal discussed Modalities for recruitment under NHM in district

GANDERBAL, DECEMBER 29: Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal who is also
the Chairman District Health authority today chaired a meeting with the concerned to discuss
the modalities regarding recruitment of staff under National Health Mission (NHM) in the
district.
The meeting was attended by the CPO Ganderbal, CMO Ganderbal, Executive Engineer REW
Ganderbal, EO Municipality, Executive Engineer Jalshakti Ganderbal, District Social Welfare
Officer, District Panchayat Officer, Medical Superintendent DH, BMOs, BDC chairperson
Ganderbal, programme Manager HOPE Wayil Ganderbal.
During the meeting CMO Ganderbal informed the chair that various posts are to be filled under
NHM in different categories including General Nurses, Pharmacists, Councilors, Sister tutor,
Lab Assistant etc. for which various candidates of the district have applied.
Threadbare discussion was held upon the various aspects of recruitment rules like eligibility,
selection date, qualification required, age, Domicile, category reservation, etc.
After thorough discussion upon the selection criteria rules, the DC stressed for ensuring the
selection process as per the laid down guidelines so that selection process is done in free, fair and
transparent manner.
Regarding date of interview of eligible applicants, the DC asked the CMO that date be given
wide publicity through all means of media to ensure no eligible applicants miss interview.
