Advocate Yasmeen Sonaullah appointed as ANC women’s wing President for J&K.

Srinagar,29 December,ANC President Begum Khalida Shah is pleased to appoint Advocate Yasmeen Sonaullah as President of ANC women’s wing. Adv Yasmeen hails from Shutloo Rafiabad & holds an LLM degree from University of BVP,Pune.

Member of JK Civil Society Coordination Committee set up for protection of Article 370 & 35A in 2017, Advocate Yasmeen currently works in the Supreme Court of India & the Delhi Courts. She is credited with supporting Article 370 petition in the Supreme Court & filing the first clampdown petition in the name of Tahseen Poonawala & the petition against the National Highway ban in J&K State.

Advocate Yasmeen will oversee the case pending before the Supreme Court on Article 370/ 35 A & will file fresh revision petition on Roshni Act and intervention application on Article 370 in coming days.

J&K Awami National Conference hails Advocate Yasmeen’s appointment as its head of the women’s wing for J&K & wishes her all success in representing the Kashmir cases in the highest courts of the country.

Advocate Yasmeen is a familiar face on the National TV channels actively debating matters related to the Kashmir issue.
