02 DRUG PEDDLERS ARRESTED IN AWANTIPORA; POPPY STRAW RECOVERED

Awantipora 26 December 2020:Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, Police Naka party of Police Post Reshipora arrested two drug peddlers during naka at Dattpora Awantipora.

The arrested drug peddlers has been identified as Rayees Ahmad Bhat S/O Mohammad Sidiq and Mohammad Dawood Bhat S/O Late Ghulam Mohammad both resident of Reshipora Awantipora and were arrested while they were moving in suspicious circumstances at Dattpora.

14 Kgs of Poppy Straw (Fukki) was recovered from the possession of arrested persons.

Case FIR Number 199/2020 under relevant sections of NDPS stands registered at Police Station Awantipora.
