Unknown persons steal 50 sheep from Tral hamlet

Tral, Dec 8, KNT: Approximately 50 sheep have been stolen from a cowshed in a hamlet in Tral town of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, locals said.

The incident occurred during the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.

Locals told news agency KNT that 50 sheep were stolen from the cow-shed of one Abdul Rashid Shah from Lariyar village.

They said a report is being filed at concerned police station.

Cattle theft incidents are common in rural areas. Police arrested dozens of cattle smugglers and thieves in recent past from different hamlets of South Kashmir. (KNT)
