Srinagar, Dec 7 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police claimed to have arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered heroin in Pulwama district of south Kashmir on Monday, a police spokesman said this afternoon.
On a tip-off, police arrested a drug peddler at Pampore in Pulwama and recovered heroin from his possession.
A case has been registered and further investigation initiated, he said.
