Senior NC leaders from Ganderbal join AP in Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 16 (UNI) A senior National Conference (NC) leader alongwith his close associate from central Kashmir district of Ganderbal on Monday joined Apni Party (AP) in Srinagar.
A spokesman for the AP in a statement here this afternoon claimed that NC District Vice President Ganderbal Peer Mohammad Yousuf Shah, alongwith his close associate Mohmmad Younis from Kangan on Monday joined Apni Party at its office in Srinagar.

He said Shah who is also Deputy Block Development Council (Dy BDC) Chairman Wakoora Ganderbal joined the party in presence of AP president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari.

Speaking on the occasion, Shah said that AP is gaining recognition and credibility on the ground at a significant pace and he was motivated to join this party because of its clear and unambiguous socio-economic and political agenda.

Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, Bukhari hoped that with their joining the party cadre will get strengthened on the ground in district Ganderbal and its adjoining areas.

“Apni Party is a political platform for the people and particularly for all those aspiring political workers who do not believe in hoodwinking the masses with hollow sloganeering and emotive politics. Our aim is to work for the welfare of people and not to sell them dreams about the moon and the stars,” he added.
