COVID-19: CRPF personal tested positive after death, toll reaches to 192

Srinagar, July 14 : A CRPF personnel who died at SMHS on Monday was tested positive for Covid-19 after death, taking the total number deaths related to Covid-19 in JK to 192.

Dr Nazir Choudhary, Medical Superintendent at SMHS told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a 35-year-old CRPF man of 66 Bn CRPF Baramulla who was admitted on Monday and died after a few hours here.

“His sample was taken and results came positive on today afternoon,” he said.

Officials said that CRPF man was resident of Nowshera Rajouri and was cremated in Shamshan Ghat Karan Nagar.

With his death, the toll related to Covid-19 has reached to 192 including 18 from Jammu and 174 from Kashmir division
