Youth found dead in Uri, Case registered

Baramulla, June 09 : A 21-year old youth was found dead under mysterious conditions in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday morning.

A Police official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a youth identified as Sohail Ahmad Lone, son of Late Manzoor Ahmad Lone of Mayan Uri was found dead at his room on Tuesday morning.

The family members informed local police who reached the spot and took the body into their custody for legal formalities, he said, adding that the body was later handed over to the family for last rites.

Meanwhile, Station House officer (SHO) Bijhama while confirming the incident said that a case under the relevant act was registered while further investigation has been taken up—
