116 recoveries in Kupwara in 3 days, 156 active cases

Kupwara, June 09 : In the last three days, COVID hit north Kashmir’s Kupwara has reported at least 116 recoveries taking the total toll of active cases to 156 of 357 positive cases in the entire district so far.

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that 116 recovered in the last three days. Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Anshul Garg informed that, “With God’s grace, a record 116 COVID recoveries for Kupwara in the last 3 days and Active Cases to fall below 150”.

“Must gear up for tougher challenges ahead as the Unlock process continues & restrictions fade away gradually”, he said. He said self-restraint and masks would be key to success in this battle.

Pertinently, as per government bulletin 357 people have so far tested positive for novel coronavirus in the entire district of which 3 have died 198 recovered talking active cases toll to 156.

Besides that 97 recoveries were reported today, while 183 locals have so far tested positive and 174 travellers that pushed the total cases to 257 in Kupwara
