Elder sister of Dr, Rafi editor ‘Sehar’ passes away,Condolences pour in from different segments of the society

Srinagar, 8th June, : Elder sister of editor, weekly ‘Sehar’ Dr. Rafi, passed away on 7th June at Sheri Kashmir Institute of Medical Science SKIMS, where she remained admitted for some time. The deceased was suffering from serious heart ailments, which finally took its toll on her and she left for heavenly abode on Sunday afternoon.

Married to Er. G.M Shah, Ex General Manager Jammu and Kashmir State Financial Corporation, the deceased had retired as Zonal Education Officer.

Besides the media fraternity, several social, political and business organisations have expressed their grief over the demise of the departed and solidarity with Dr. Rafi and other members of the bereaved family.

While praying for the piece of the departed soul, editor CNS, Rsheed Rahi and other editorial staff members, expressed their grief over her death and conveyed their condolences to Dr. Rafi (9419769109).

According to the family sources, Taziyat will be observed for three days and there will be no congregational gatherings or Fateh Khwani held; however the bereaved family has put up a request for prayers for the departed soul.
