DGP Leads Solidarity Sammelan For policemen, healthcare, other Covid-19 workers

Jammu, April 28 (GNS): Director General of Police Jammu and Kashmir Dilbag Singh on Tuesday led a Solidarity Sammelan at Police Headquarters Jammu in unity with fellow policemen, doctors, paramedic staff, municipal workers and other Covid-19 workers.

The solidarity Sammelan was held while observing all the social distancing norms and other protocols, reports said.

ADGsP, IGsP, SSsP and other Jammu based GOs participated in the solidarity Sammelan along with doctors, nurses, and other paramedics from police hospital Jammu.

The officers were holding play cards in their hands-on different themes including one for ASI Harjit Singh (Now SI) of Punjab Police who was assaulted by violators and rendered seriously injured while performing legitimate duties. Reports reaching GNS said that similar Samelans were held by all the district police and armed police units at their respective locations.

Meanwhile IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar led a similar Solidarity Sammelan held at District Police Line Srinagar

While observing all the social distancing norms and other protocols, the Sammelan has participated among others by DIG CKR and SSP Srinagar who expressed their solidarity with fellow policemen, doctors, paramedic staff, municipal workers and other Covid-19 workers.

IGP Kashmir thanked all those Coronavirus warriors who without caring about their life are working relentlessly round the clock during this pandemic
