Licensed pesticide, fungicide, fertilizer shops to remain operational from 12 noon to 2 pm: DC Shopian

SHOPIAN, APRIL 06: Deputy Commissioner (DC), Shopian, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin today directed the licensed Pesticide, Fungicide and fertilizer Dealers to remain operational from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m every day while strictly maintaining the social distancing under the supervision of concerned Agriculture and Horticulture Development officials.

The decision was taken in compliance with the guidelines issued by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, regarding the categorization of manufacturing and supply of Horticulture inputs like pesticides, fertilizers, farm machinery as essential commodities and keeping in view the importance of timely availability of critical inputs and restoration of agriculture and horticultural activities in the district.
