UP: Father kills two daughters charged for stealing mobile phones

Mainpuri, Mar 19 : A father annoyed with charges of robbery on his daughters shot dead both of them in village Dharu under Kotwali police station area here, police said on Thursday.
After killing both of his daughters on Wednesday night, the accused father informed the police and was later arrested.
Additional Superintendent of police (ASP) Om Prakash Singh said that sukhdeo Narain Sharma shot dead his two daughters Anamika (20) and Neha (18) at around 2230 hours on Wednesday.
Mr Singh said that as per the investigation the family attended a Holi Milan programmee in a relative’s house in the same village on Tuesday. During the function, a mobile phone went missing and the two girls were blamed for stealing.
The relative whose mobile got stolen was Pawan Sharma, who is the personal driver of Uttar Pradesh Excise Minister Ram Naresh Agnihotri.
Annoyed with the charges the father shot dead his daughters, the ASP said.
