Maharashtra records new coronavirus case

Aurangabad, Mar 19: A 32-year-old woman who returned from Netherlands to Pune via Dubai has been reported positive for coronavirus, Health minister Rajesh Tope said on Thursday.
The case was reported on late Wednesday evening.
According to a statement from health ministry, total number of cases in the State are Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation 10, Pune Municipal Corporation 8, Mumbai 7, Nagpur 4, Yavatmal, Navi Mumbai, Kalyan 3 each Raigad, Thane, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad each 1.
As a result, the total number of corona affected patients in the state has increased to 42. One of them died in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Up to date, a total 1227 passengers have come from the affected areas in country. People were recruited in different isolation rooms in the state due to symptoms of fever, cold and cough. So far 958 were admitted in the state of them 865 of the suspected has been tested negative for laboratory samples and 42 have been as positive.
All the district hospitals and government medical colleges in the state are directed to take preventive measures to prevent and control the virus.
Travelers from all the countries are being examined at the airport as per the suggestion of the central government, the statement added.
